IMPACT client Solahart, the original name in solar, is committed to helping Australians make smarter, more sustainable choices for their homes.
Over the years, our work has included identifying and building strategic partnerships to promote the team’s trusted expertise via authentic storytelling and targeted collaborations.
We are excited to share that Solahart was recently featured in the grand finale of Channel 9’s new renovation show, Holiday Home Makeover with Rachel and Ryan.
The integration, which went live on 21 June, not only reinforced the benefits of renewable energy, but also positioned the switch to solar as a desirable lifestyle upgrade for homeowners.
Shining a spotlight on luxe sustainable living
Led by former The Block contestants Rachel and Ryan, Holiday Home Makeover praised the luxe aesthetics of their new Solahart set up, fit for aspirational living.
Within the new series, the couple set out to transform a tired country property into the ultimate NSW South Coast escape, highlighting how future proofing the home with sustainable features was a top priority.
IMPACT worked with the Holiday Home Makeover team to develop a bespoke proposal for Solahart as the energy provider of choice for the renovation, ‘Cinque House’. Following this, we crafted a comprehensive package, negotiating high-impact deliverables, and securing a tailored media plan designed to maximise reach and content deliverables across social, digital, and broadcast.
Once approved, we supported the filming of Solahart’s segment with key messages, interview briefings and liaising with the production team and local dealership to ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
Maximising awareness with a multi-channel strategy
Reaching a national audience of 699,000, the episode integration put Solahart front and centre of a highly aspirational property renovation, positioning the brand as the premium supplier of solar solutions in Australia.
To leverage the opportunity, IMPACT developed a broader three-week program of activity, including a socials program, ensuring multiple partnership touchpoints.
With Rachel and Ryan’s 45,000 followers, integrating a social approach would allow Solahart to establish a stronger connection with consumers and amplify the narrative on a new platform. With more content yet to be published, it has been fantastic to see such high engagement and positive sentiment from the audience.
We are also currently rolling out a media program, targeting lifestyle consumer titles and local media in the NSW South Coast. The earned media program, includes a case study on the home upgrade that provides real-world insight into how solar can cut bills and empower households to take back control of their energy.
To ensure cohesive amplification across Solahart’s national dealer network, IMPACT also developed a communications bulletin to promote the partnership and its value to key stakeholders. Aligning business partners on the importance of the activity not only generates excitement for the show but supports the conversion journey.
Solahart’s latest strategic partnership is more than just exposure; it’s an impactful platform to showcase the growing expectation that solar should be an essential component of any home upgrade.
