Independent communications consulting firm, The IMPACT Agency has promoted two standout employees into key senior roles.
Victoria O’Neill is now IMPACT’s Chief Operating Officer and Katie Eastment is the company’s Group Account Director. With 30 combined years experience in the industry, they have been instrumental in establishing the groundwork to fulfill IMPACT’s purpose – to put people first.
CEO of IMPACT, Nicole Webb said: “IMPACT is laser focused on putting people first – from our employees, clients and suppliers right through to the type of work we do.
“Victoria has been a driving force behind the development of our human insight-led methodology, to better understand the barriers and drivers of our client’s stakeholders, while Katie has always worked to enhance our products and services, including the recent IMPACT Pulse Check that had the audacity to ask influencers, content creators and their managers what they actually want from brands. Understanding human behaviour is at the centre of what we do,” she said.
Victoria joined IMPACT in 2008, during which time she has led the corporate team, specialising in stakeholder, reputation and issues/crisis communications. The former journalist also has a passion for supporting staff so they can be the best they possibly can via the agency’s career progression framework.
Katie joined IMPACT in 2016 with a wealth of knowledge in events and festivals. She has led the agency’s consumer team and won numerous awards for her strategy and execution.
“This financial year we are also rolling out our internal ESG strategy, committing to 70 targets over the next three years. Using their incredible expertise and experience in this space, Victoria and Katie will be working closely with the team to ensure we meet our obligations. Caring for people, and the planet, plus ethical growth is really important to all three of us,” Webb said.
The promotions follow the recent hire of IMPACT’s Strategic Communications Director, Marcela Balart who joins the agency following a five year tenure at NBN.
