IMPACT announces ATYP’s Rebel Theatre

The Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) has been an IMPACT pro bono client of ours for the past seven years (our CEO even sits on the board).

The Theatre required public relations support to announce the amazing $1 million donation made by former ATYP student and arts advocate, Rebel Wilson, and to drive further donations to support their move to its new home in Sydney’s Walsh Bay.

IMPACT organised a first-run exclusive with The Sydney Morning Herald to announce a theatre would be named in Rebel’s honour.

Interviews and media coverage with Ben Fordham (2GB Radio), The Briefing, 9News, The Daily Mail, and more quickly followed.

The story was seen, shared, tweeted and liked by millions, with ATYP securing more than $800K in additional donations in just four weeks.
