Forget the horses – the real race that stops the nation happened right here at IMPACT!  

For the past seven years, IMPACT has said ‘Nup to the Cup’. While we love to see our team dress to impress, our festivities are a strictly no-fur affair. Instead, we have made it our own with our annual ‘Race That Stops The Cooperage’.  

This year we stopped Pyrmont in its tracks (no, really, we stopped traffic) with our fiercest lineup yet, in fact, we supersized it, from the competitors to the racetrack! 

The stakes were high with the coveted crown set to reward one of our very own as the star-studded IMPACT team donned inflatable costumes. The sight brought some extra bounce, laughter, and a healthy dose of chaos to Pyrmont.  

The contenders took to the track representing their spirit animals:  

• Sofia as Sir Squishalot the koala 

• Eva as Pinchy McQueen the lobster 

• Trish as Lady Shark as the shark 

• Victoria as Sprintasaurus Rex the dinosaur 

• Lucia as Crocadilla the crocodile, and 

• Marcela as Somewhere Over The Rainbow the unicorn. 

Their differences couldn’t be greater, but they were united by one goal: to take home gold. 

The competition was tight (for most), the tactics were questionable, and the commentary… absolutely world class.  

After an edge-of-your-seat-finish, our 2025 Nup to the Cup champion was crowned.
