Independent communications consulting firm, The IMPACT Agency has announced the promotion of one of its Consumer Team members to Senior Account Manager.

Recently celebrating her one-year anniversary with the agency, Eva Mitchell primarily works across its consumer accounts, including Nestlé, Solahart, and Oatly.

IMPACT founder and CEO, Nicole Webb, said: “At IMPACT, we are led by our people-first approach, and that starts with our team. Eva has been a valued member of the agency, and we are excited to see her excel as she embarks on this new senior role.”

Having made the jump from in-house comms to agency, Eva said the professional development and variety of client work were key highlights.

“During my first year, I’ve learnt a lot around the behavioural insights of communication and the importance this plays in strategy and planning. I’ve also gained fantastic experience working on several consumer influencer marketing campaigns, that has allowed me to build skills and knowledge in this field.

“The most rewarding work for me has been achieving great coverage and sharing the success with our clients. From local TV news segments to bylines in national magazines, nothing beats seeing those clips go live,” she said.

For those considering branching out into a consultancy, Eva said agency experience is a great way to build on PR skills, whilst gaining a diverse range of sector knowledge.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to learn about completely new industries, products and technology, while simultaneously working across a great range of exciting projects – certainly no two days are the same!”

As an organisation centred around its people, Eva has especially enjoyed being a part of the IMPACT team culture.

“I feel very lucky to work with such a talented and close-knit crew. From new business ideations to discussions about the daily news cycle, the insights and creativity from the team has been nothing short of inspiring. Everyone is always ready to roll up their sleeves and help out too. It’s a supportive environment where no matter the busy schedules, there’s always time to celebrate everyone’s wins (usually with cake)!” she concluded.
